JEE Main 2022: Registration start date, exam dates, eligibility, attempt and other updates
NTA has not yet announced the examination dates for JEE Main 2022. After initial speculation regarding 4 sessions, like in 2020, sources have now revealed that NTA is planning to conduct the examination in two sessions in 2022. Sources close to officials of NTA have pointed out that the agency would revert to its original plan of conducting two sessions for the exam. The sources have also shared that the examination would be conducted in 9 regional languages and shared tentative dates for the beginning of registration and examination.
Experts have also pointed out that since most of the board exams are beginning either in late April or ending by first week of April, the first session of JEE Main 2022 is likely to be conducted around April 10. Notification likely to be released on nta.ac.inas well.

JEE Main 2022: Eligibility, number of attempts, etc.
NTA would be releasing the detailed notification for JEE Main once the registration commences on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main, however, is unlikely to change. Students who have appeared for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their qualifying (Class 12 or equivalent) examination are eligible to appear for the examination.
Students are advised to keep a check on the official website for the notification. It is expected that the eligibility requirement of minimum 50 per cent may be relaxed for this year as well.
