CUET UG 2023 Application Last Date Extended : UGC Chairman

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar, announced on Friday that the application deadline for the second edition of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG has been extended until March 30.

The exam is scheduled to be held from May 21 to 31, and the UGC had previously announced that undergraduate admissions in all central universities would be conducted through a common entrance test rather than based on class 12 marks. The UG admission process in universities is expected to be completed by July, and the new academic session can begin on August 1. The first edition of the CUET-UG, conducted in July 2022, was marred by glitches, resulting in the National Testing Agency (NTA) canceling the exam at multiple centers.
