Power Shutdown Scheduled for Multiple Parts of Kashmir for Repair Works

The Power Controller Kashmir has announced that several areas in Kashmir will experience power supply disruptions in the coming days due to necessary repair works. The scheduled power shutdowns are aimed at facilitating repair and maintenance activities across various receiving stations.

On June 4, from 3 am to 6 pm, the power supply to Rangreth and Wanbal will be affected due to repair works. Additionally, on June 3 from 2 am to 3 pm, the power supply to receiving stations such as Badami Bagh, Sonwar, Panthchowk, Tangnar WSS, Govt Press, Lasjan, and DPS will be disrupted to carry out RMU works on the 33 KV Pampore-Badamibagh line.

To facilitate the erection of poles, power supply interruptions are scheduled for June 3 and 6, from 10 am to 4 pm, for receiving stations including Hutmurrah, Aishmuqam, Salia, Batkoot, Sallar, Pahalgam AIS, GIS Pahalgam, and District Jail. Similarly, on June 4 and 6, from 9.30 am to 5 pm, power supply interruptions will affect receiving stations Kakapora, Newa, Pinglena, MLIS Stage-I, II, III, and IV.

Moreover, power supply disruptions are planned on June 3, 6, and 10, from 9 am to 4 pm, for receiving stations Watlab, Dooru, Tujjar, PHE, Rohama, Chakloo, Ganapora, Hadipora, Watergam, Hachipora, Safapora, Seer, Jagir, and SIDCO to facilitate pole erection and other related works. Receiving stations Salamabad, Bandi, Mohra, and Noorkha will experience power interruptions on June 3 and 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. On June 5, 8, and 10, from 10 am to 4 pm, power disruptions will affect receiving stations Phuropeth, Zachaldara, Chanjmulla, and Audoora. Receiving stations Krusen, Sogam, Machil, Khumriyal, Tikkar, Hyhama, Drugmulla, and MES will face power interruptions on June 3 and 7, from 10 am to 4 pm. Finally, receiving stations Tangdar, Keran, Kralpora, Trehgam, Karihama, Taratpora, and Panzgam will experience power disruptions on June 6 and 10, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Power Controller Kashmir has requested the residents of the affected areas to bear with the inconveniences caused by these planned power shutdowns. They have also advised the public to take necessary precautions and make alternate arrangements for power supply during the specified time slots. The repair works are crucial for maintaining and improving the power infrastructure in the region.
