SSC MTS 2023 Exam Tips:-

If you are aiming for a job in SSC, it is important to dedicate yourself to rigorous studying. The syllabus for both MTS and CHSL exams is similar, with the main difference being the level of difficulty. MTS is a metric level exam, while CHSL is at the secondary level. Many CGLE aspirants also take the MTS exam as a backup option due to factors such as grade pay and group ‘C’ posts.

Here are some important points to boost your preparation:

  1. Join coaching classes, either online or offline, with offline being the preferred option. Alternatively, you can join a Group Discussion club or a library or create a study group with genuine aspirants.
  2. Use recommended books for each subject. For Maths, books by R.S. Agarwal or Sagir Ahmad are good choices. Solve chapters alternately every two days, and complete coaching class homework along with one mock test per week. Afterward, practice previous year’s questions from MTS, CHSL, CGL, and CPO exams to enhance your performance.
  3. Improve your English skills by reading daily editorials or articles from newspapers. Make a note of important words in a dedicated notebook. Solve at least 50 questions per day from the MB publication book. Remember new words, idioms, and phrases. For grammar, books like “Plinth to Paramount” or “Mirror of Common Error” can be useful for this exam.
  4. Enhance your general awareness by studying from books like “Lucent General Knowledge” and “GK Speedy.” Stay updated with current affairs by watching educational YouTube channels like Study IQ or Mishra Ji Technical. Conscious effort in this area should be sufficient.
  5. Reasoning is a section where mock tests are usually enough for practice. If you face difficulties in any chapter, you can find video explanations on YouTube.

By following these suggestions, you can strengthen your preparation for the SSC exams and improve your chances of success.
