Government Announces Summer Vacation Schedule for Schools in Jammu Division
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, under the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has issued an official order regarding the summer vacation schedule for schools in the summer zone of Jammu Division.
In Order No. 656-DSEJ of 2023, dated June 2, 2023, it has been announced that all government and recognized schools in the summer zone of Jammu Division will observe summer vacation from June 8, 2023, to July 22, 2023.
In addition to the vacation period, the order also states that all teachers must remain available to provide guidance and assistance to students during the vacation period. This emphasizes the importance of continued support and academic assistance for students, even during the vacation period.
The Directorate of School Education has also made it clear that any failure on the part of the head of schools or teaching staff to adhere to the prescribed summer vacation schedule will result in disciplinary action being taken against them as per the relevant rules and regulations.
